This statue is a tribute to one of the greatest managers of all time, and seeing it fills me with melancholy. It's sad to think that since his retirement, United have not been able to find a suitable replacement for this bench. You know that he would have liked Ancelotti, with whom he was friends, but when he warned him that he was going to retire, Ancelotti had just signed with Real Madrid and he regretted very much not having known in time to be able to continue on the bench of his friend Ferguson.
