Journey
Again, inspired by Giulio, I rummaged around in the archives for the best looking Italian railway station, or any railway station.
I ended up in Canada (Sorry Giulio, but you really did inspire this journey)
Canada has some of the best railway architecture on the planet, inspired by Scottish baronial castles...but I skipped them.
In Banff, Alberta the railway station is a journey stop, on the edge of town. It is surrounded by the most majestic natural architecture, even if a little cold.
Early morning it also comes equipped with the amazing sound of the trains sounding their horn to clear the tracks of wandering moose.
