Quite unusual to see a pipe band in anything other than a square or rectangular formation. Looks like they are going around in a circle.

@Curly: They paraded (if that's the right word) around the fountain that is at the centre of Piccadilly Gardens. Not that I study these things but it was impressive to see them keep a tune, march in time and with the music, and either not fall from the fountain or get absloutely soaked!

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: ...and Scots Guards it was not! Having said that, bar for the fella on the big base drum (?) (sorry no musician me) the band appeared very young...they were also keen, sounded in tune (if bagpipes are?) and well drilled...so round of applause all round!
