City Arms, Cardiff

So with time on my hands in the City, I shot some well known landmarks.
As a student, the City Arms was a trusted and favourite meeting place to meet old and new friends from around the globe for the ritual of pre and post match drinks for Welsh rugby internationals. It didn't matter how far you travelled, this was H.Q and you would meet up here and re-acquaint yourself with mates & Brains Dark. Fond memories!

I am now a blubbering,grizzling pathetic home-sick Welshman.Cardiff and a pint of Dark,that sounds like heaven(don´t forget a clarkies pie though).
9 weeks to go and I´ll be over in Wales again and I´ll be trying a pint or two of Brains that´s for sure

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Sorry mate I know how you feel....I lived in Colchester for 3 years and the best part was always coming home! There's also a pattern here as trips home funnily enough coincided with rugby internationals and, yes, Brains Dark...I should have been sponsored!!!

Love it - I'm from Newport and spent a lot (perhaps too much) time in Cardiff. The City Arms is my meeting point on international day.

@f/1.2: Thanks Kev. In an era of 'manufactured' authentic pubs it has real character don't you think and great atmosphere on match days....you have an impressive series of sites by the way and your wedding shots are particularly stylish!
